Has Taylor lost your trust?

Happy Friday, everybody! Welcome to another edition of our weekly discussion, this time sending you into the holiday weekend. The question I pose today is this: Which Twins reliever do you currently have the most confidence in?

I think that at this time last year, 99% of Twins fans would have gone with Taylor Rogers. However, whether it’s really his fault or not, he has had some unfortunate outings as of late. Has this shaken you off of the lanky lefty?

The Twins bullpen, as a whole, has been largely excellent this year. Tyler Duffey (1.88), Matt Wisler (1.08) and Caleb Thielbar (1.69) have the best ERA’s of the bunch. Taylor Rogers (2.00) and Tyler Clippard (2.28) have the best FIP’s (so they’ve been pretty unlucky). Trevor May and Jorge Alcala might have the best stuff of everyone, and then there’s Sergio Romo. It’s a very deep, very good bullpen, despite falling short in a couple of games.

So who do you trust the most? For me, I think I trust Tyler Duffey the most. He’s got great stuff, he’s got the lowest WHIP on the team (.767), and he’s been very consistent. Wisler, Thielbar, and Alcala are too new, Trevor May gives up too many homers, and Romo and Clippard have a bad outing every few times out. Taylor Rogers may be getting unlucky lately, but my confidence in him has still been damaged. Duffey’s my pick.

What do you think? Who has earned your trust the most? Let us know in the comments!
