First Pitch: More-or-less right now

Maybe I got this one posted before the game started. Lets hope so. I’m writing it in the first inning of game one, so all I need to do is push the publish button.
Anyway, Randy Dobnak starts on four days rest. He’s generally only gone around 70ish pitches and/or 5ish innings this season, typically twice through the order. I would assume this trend continues.
Daniel Ponce de Leon starts opposite. I believe he is looking for a certain fountain that Nelson Cruz has already drank from. Hint: its probably in Florida. DPdL (totally just made that up, no idea if anyone calls him that,) has had a rough year. He’s got a 0-3 record and a 7+ ERA. This is his third year operating as a swingman for the Cards, picking up the start in a majority of his appearances, but also spending time in the pen. He’s been generally effective overall, and his 2020 is a small sample with some encouraging things (like a 12.2 K/9) that means he could be a tougher challenge for the Twins than first glance suggests.
