HOU leads 1-0
Tonight, it will be Nathan Eovaldi and his 2.61 postseason ERA facing Luis Garcia and his 16.88 ERA. Because baseball is the most predictable sport there is, and because the smaller the sample size, the better, you can probably skip this game knowing that Houston will cruise to a comfortable 16.88 - 2.61 win over Boston.
For as hot and complete as the Astro offense is, it’s worth noting that Kiké Hernandez has 29 total bases in his last four games of the postseason.
DODGERS @ BRAVES

Series tied 0-0
Corey Knebel is set to open this game and open the series for the Dodgers, while Max Fried takes the ball for Atlanta. The Braves will have home-field advantage thanks to winning the National League East, despite recording 18 fewer wins than L.A. during the regular season. Personally, I think that’s fine. Others have different opinions on the merits of re-seeding after the Wild Card Game.
The Braves notably blew a 3-1 NLCS lead to the Dodgers last year, and will be looking for payback this week against yet another stacked Los Angeles team. Will they be able to finish the job and attend their first World Series since 1999? Or will the Dodgers become the first repeat National League champions since — the Dodgers, in 2017-18? Four pennants in five years would be quite the accomplishment in a league that hasn’t seen repeat title winners in over two decades.
