The Ultimate plan

What kind of plan is this?
A plan that sets up the starting rotation for the future and prepares for the prospects coming in. We try and be around a 500 team now and

What payroll limit did you set?
135 million

Trades
First trade is trading Garver and Alex Scherff for Zach DeLoach (Mariners #6) and Juan Then (Mariners #14) we aren’t playing Garver anyway let’s get some prospects out of him. Next trade is getting rid of Sano we send him to the brewers along with 5.0MM and Randy Dobnak for Cousins not Kirk the other one. The brewers would do this because this gives them a a bat and we would do it for a bullpen arm. The final trade is Donaldson and Rodgers for Robert Dominguez (Mets #9) and Josh walker (Mets #16). The Mets get 3B and a back end reliever. The twins get two prospects and unloads Donaldsons contract.

Plan Summary:
Trading Garver is a difficult decision, but he isn’t playing much anyway and he is just getting older. I’d deal him to the Mariners who need a catcher and have good prospects. Now the mets get Donaldson who have been interested in him (as well as Taylor Rogers to acquire younger pitchers and players). Trading Sano for me was just a goodbye to the old era for me and getting a good reliever will help
Extending Buxton and Arraez is going to help out future and right now Buxton last year was a top 5 player in baseball when healthy. He may be glass but he is an amazing pice of glass.
The plan is to sign starting pitching that can help us now and in the future. Also sign guys to just help triple A, the bullpen does look shaky but we are going to hope that one our prospects we traded for can develop into a top tier closer. Until then we plug in guys, for me the Duffy/Cousins combo will be great for the 7th inning. Also I decided to have Lorenzen on our roster for one reason, WALMART OHTANI. Don’t worry that spot probably will just be a young pitcher spot. Also Eddie and Cruz are going to lead us to the playoffs. Yes I did copy some of BH-Baseball off-season plans but did my own edits because if it ain’t broke don’t fix it.
