Ladies and gentlemen: He’s back!
#MNTwins activated Luis Arraez (concussion) from the injured list and optioned Nick Gordon to Triple-A.

After suffering concussion-like symptoms on a play at the plate more than a week ago, Minnesota Twins utilityman and need-to-be-in-the-lineup guy Luis Arráez was activated off the seven-day concussion Injured List today. The Venezuelan was hitting .291/.398/.372 (.770) with a homer and 11 RBI before hitting the I.L. As per his standard ways, Arráez has struck out 11 times against 14 walks. He is slated to lead off for the Twins against the Chicago White Sox tonight.
To make room for Arráez, the Twins have optioned Nick Gordon to Class AAA St Paul. In his second cup of coffee with the big-league club, he finally got some action in one game, getting a first hit after walking in his first at-bat and then promptly stealing second. He also stole second a second time in his second at-bat.
This is probably welcome news for Twins fans as the lineup continues to be blah along with most of the rest of the team. This is only my opinion though, so feel free to disagree with me. But hey, I still think it’s good to see him back.
