Game 34: Twins at White Sox

J.A. Happ is pitching, so ... we can win? Maybe?

MLB: Minnesota Twins at Chicago White Sox
This happened last night. Let’s hope it doesn’t happen again.

Know Thine Enemy: South Side Sox

Can you believe that the Twins are 12-21? Ugh. Me neither.

On Tuesday, it looked like the Good Guys were going to lose another squeaker. Instead, the White Sox ran away and hid from Rocco Baldelli’s battered and bewildered squad.

But good news: the man, the myth, the legend, J.A. Happ is on the bump on Wednesday in Chi-town. Yes, just as we all expected, Happ has been the Twins’ “ace” thus far this season, throwing to the tune of a 1.91 ERA and having yet to give up more than two runs in any start.

He’ll be facing off against former Cy Young Award-winner Dallas Keuchel, who held the Red scoreless over seven innings last time out. Oh, and he’s a lefty, so ... Happ’s gonna need to pitch a gem.

Oh, also, this game will be broadcast on MLB Network, with a combination of studio hosts/analysts actually calling the game as well as some fancy stastical overlays and such. It should be a good time, if you’re into that sort of thing.

Okay, let’s get after it. Something good’s gotta happen at some point, right?
