After another series loss, the Twins roll into Seattle with some reinforcements.
Luis Arraez and Kenta Maeda have been reinstated from the IL. Michael Pineda is headed to the IL with right elbow inflammation along with Rob Refsnyder with a right hamstring strain.

Byron Buxton hasn't been activated yet. #MNTwins
At long last, our king Kenta Maeda has returned and will be taking the mound tonight. Luis Arraez was activated but is not in the lineup, and Byron Buxton traveled with the team but has not been activated as of yet.
Seattle is 32-35, sitting at 4th place in the AL West and a number of games ahead of the Twins. They’ve won 4 out of their last 10 and are probably a little bit worse than their record suggests, giving the Twins an excellent opportunity for a bounce-back series.
Taking the mound for the Mariners will be lefty Marco Gonzales, who currently sports a 5.45 ERA. With a (supposedly) healthy Kenta Maeda taking the mound, the mildly warm Twins offense should be able to give the staff some good run support tonight. If not, it might officially be time to stick a fork in this season.
On that sunny note, let’s look at some lineups.
