Happy All Star Break Eve to all who celebrate. The Twins will look to end the unofficial first half of the season on a high note today with a sweep of the Tigers. José Berríos (7-3, 3.36 ERA) will look to deliver another strong pitching performance today against his Detroit counterpart Willy Peralta (2-1, 2.14 ERA). Last time he started, José pitched an absolute gem, allowing two runs (one earned) on one hit with ten strikeouts. Unfortunately, those two runs ended up being enough for the White Sox to win, as the Twins offense was only able to get one across the plate. Here’s hoping for another stellar performance on the mound from Berríos, with some better production from the lineup this time.
