To complement the high school pitcher the Twins added with their first pick, they selected a high school hitter with their Comp Round A pick, number 36. Noah Miller, from Ozaukee High School in Fredonia—a small town sort of between Milwaukee and Sheboygan.

According to Perfect Game:

Noah Miller is a 2021 SS/2B with a 6-0 190 lb. frame from Fredonia, WI who attends Ozaukee. Recorded a 6.94 second 60 yard dash time, showcasing good speed. Solidly-built frame with present athleticism and well proportioned strength throughout. Primary shortstop, fields out front with active feet a clean funnel to the center, moves with smooth and fluid actions. Extremely quick transfer and release, moves very well laterally and has big time range. Soft hands with great feel for the glove on both sides. Makes difficult plays look easy and effortless, made multiple ranging plays during the game. Superior defensive skillset. Switch hitter with a narrow stance and big stride into contact. Low effort operation, stays through the ball and creates good separation, doesn’t try to do too much. Fluid swing path, shows good balance and fires the hips well. Present bat speed and hand quickness, shows the ability to create lift and get the barrel turned over. Produced solid contact on both sides and has intriguing power potential. Exciting prospect with an elite skillset in the field and at the plate, does both at a very high-level and will continue to improve. Excellent student. Alabama commit. Named to the 2021 National Pre Draft Showcase Top Prospect List.

Miller’s elder brother, Owen, made his debut as a utilityman for the Spiders this season. This could have the making of a fun rivalry in a few years.

While Noah is from that horrible state to the east, he’s a midwesterner, and should fit right in. Welcome to the Twins!
