Trevor Plouffe, who once manned the hot corner for the Twins, is now a fairly-active social media personality, and given his recent retirement, he is able to provide some unique locker room insight that you just don’t get from the Bob Nightengales or Jon Heymans of the world.
For example:
Huge addition by the Yanks IMO.

Yeah, not exactly a subtle suggestion, is it? But really, Gallo isn’t the only former teammate of Plouffe’s to be traded this week. Okay, Gallo and Plouffe were barely teammates—as they both spent spring training 2018 with the Rangers, before Plouffe was sent to triple-A. Other notable names on that spring roster? Kevin Jepsen, Deolis Guerra, and Bartolo Colon. Any notes on their man-meat, Trev?
But that begs the question—Plouffe shared a locker room with Eduardo Escobar from 2012 through 2016. Surely he’s going to offer us that scouting report, right? We all want to know the meaty truth about Fogo Power. What about the rest of the Kramarczuk’s sausages at Target Field?
Any Joe Mauer takes?
