Game 115: Twins vs. White Sox

Can the Twins win the series??

The Minnesota Twins have a shot at earning a series win against the Mighty Whities on Wednesday afternoon, although it will surely be tough sledding.

The Twins will be facing off against Old Friend Enemy Lance Lynn, who is 10-3 with a sparkling 2.04 ERA. If only they were facing 2018 Lance Lynn and not the version who has gone 32-17 with a 3.14 ERA, 1.13 WHIP, and 10.3 K/9 version who has pitched for Texas and Chicago over the last three seasons. (Seriously, those are his 2019-2021 numbers.)

Rocco Baldelli’s squad will counter with rookie hurler Bailey Ober, who threw five innings of three-run ball against Houston last time out. Overall, Ober has been okay in his 12 starts this season. He currently carries a 4.99 ERA and has only given up more than three earned runs in a start three since his debut back in May.

Enjoy day baseball!
