Game 125: Twins at Red Sox

After getting swept in New York the Twins head to Boston to probably do the same thing.

Know thine enemy: Over the Monster

The Twins being bad this year has caused me to lose interest in keeping up with the rest of baseball so I know next to nothing about the Red Sox, so its time for me to look at Baseball Refe. Their starter today is the rookie Tanner Houck, who seems to just strike out everybody, at a rate of about 12 per 9 innings. He doesn’t go very deep into games, but while he’s out there it seems like he’s pretty effective.

I may not know much about the Red Sox but (unfortunately?) I do know some things about the Twins. Their starter today is Griffin Jax. He had a rough start to his rookie season but in his last 5 starts he’s posted a 2.73 ERA.
