Game 152: Twins at Cubs

Two-game sweeps count, too

First Pitch: 6:40 PM CDT

Radio: WCCO 830, Audacy, TIBN, 102.9 The Wolf
Know Thine Enemy: Bleed Cubbie Blue

The Twins are in Chi-town for the second of a two-game series on Wednesday night.

They’ll have Nolan Joe Ryan on the bump for the first time since he somehow escaped with “only” a contusion on his throwing hand back on September 14 against Cleveland.

In 17 major-league innings, Ryan has given up just four earned runs on seven hits and has struck out 14 batters with only two walks. He appears to be good at baseball, and potentially a great get by the front office.

Ryan will be opposed by Kyle Hendricks, who is somehow 14-6 for a bad Cubs team but also wields an ERA of 4.81. Weird stuff.

Byron Buxton has the night off, so we have that to not look forward to.

Enjoy the game!
