Coming off an impressive team performance yesterday against the AL-leading Rays, the Twins are rolling into Cleveland. Since Berrios was traded and Kenta got hurt, Bailey Ober has taken the mantle of “Twins starter that we’re excited to see pitch”, and he’s taking the ball tonight - so get excited!
Ober has given up a total of 4 earned runs over his last 4 starts, and the Twins have won 5 of the last 6 games where he took the mound. The lanky right-hander looks to keep building on this solid stretch and really embed himself into the 2022 rotation.
For Cleveland, Logan Allen will be taking the bump. Allen has some ugly surface stats this year (such as his 6.62 ERA), but has had two quality starts in a row. He had 6 earned runs in 1.1 innings in a game against the Twins earlier in the year.
Go Twins Go!
