A staple of my New Years holiday experience has always been the Twilight Zone marathon on television. Perhaps my favorite TV series of all time, Rod Serling’s anthology masterpiece features plot & character twists in every installment.

In that spirit, I went searching for the most unpredictable—for the better or for the worse—Minnesota Twins contests of 2023. There are many ways to define this, but I chose to look for WPA (Win Probability Added) graphs that resemble a EKG chart. So, not necessarily the best late-inning comebacks—but more the “each team looked like they had it won multiple times” sort of affairs.

So, let’s travel into that mysterious fifth dimension for a look at the contests that were “as timeless as infinity”...
