Triple-A: Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders 6, Rochester Red Wings 3
The RailRiders scored three runs in the top of the sixth and seventh, and, welp. Three of those runs were on a three-run homer run by SS Gleyber Torres off SP Yohan Pino. At least Pino is a farmhand and not a prospect? RP D.J. Baxendale came in and gave up another three runs for good measure.
Oldie Red Wings RF J.B. Shuck and 3B Matt Hague both went 2-for-4. The good boys didn’t get any extra-case hits in the game. Lame.
RP Alan Busenitz pitched a perfect ninth inning. He has a 2.22 ERA on the year.
Double-A: Chattanooga Lookouts 4, Jackson Generals 2
The Lookouts scored three runs in the bottom of the first and basically never looked back. Most of that scoring came on the Generals messing up, though—a passed ball, two walks, an error, a sac-fly, etc. It was ugly for the Generals, but good for the Lookouts. In fact, they drove the Generals SP before the end of the first. lol.
The mistakes certainly helped, as the Lookouts only had four hits in the game—but walked six times! Yikes.
Top prospect SP Stephen Gonsalves started for the Lookouts, and was great. Five scoreless innings with only two hits and three walks—plus, eight strikeouts.
High-A: Palm Beach Cardinals 2, Ft. Myers Miracle 0 (suspended after 3.5 innings)
It started raining. They’ll try to do this one tomorrow.

Low-A: Cedar Rapids Kernels off
