Since you’re here, let me tell you a little about our site. Twinkie Town is an SB Nation community blog by and for Minnesota Twins fans. Our purpose it to provide a place for Twins fans of all shapes and sizes to gather and talk about Twins news, opinions, analysis, game coverage, and stupid stuff. We love the stupid stuff.

Our Community

I, myjah, am the head writer and manager for the site, but it is not my site—it is our site. As a community-oriented blog, you will often find lively discussion in the comments to our posts, and that is a BIG part of who we are. You know the saying, “Don’t read the comments”? We have worked hard together to make sure that does not apply here. Heck, the comments are often the best part. In fact, I started here as a commenter, and now I’m running the site! That’s how important our comments section is.

Comments aren’t all, though. We also provide a platform for our community members to write their own blog posts and share other photos, tweets, links, etc. relevant to Twins fans. These are called FanPosts and FanShots, and you can learn more about how to use them at our guide here.

You really have no good reason not to join us. Or at least try it out.

Our Content

Obviously, there can be no comments if there is nothing to comment on. Our talented team of writers works to provide our community with new, original content daily.

Here are some of the things we provide:

• Daily (or almost) news and link round-ups that serve as open threads to discuss topics of the day. Come talk about news or whatever else you want! These include Monday Minnesota, Tuesday Twins, Thursday Thunder Dump, etc.
• Game Threads for our community members to meet in and chat live while watching every game.
• Game Recaps that sum up the most important parts from each game and game thread. Never miss a thing! Or at least, never miss anything that important.
• Minor league coverage of the Twins’ affiliate teams, including daily Farm Reports recapping the previous day’s games. Yes—we use farm photos for these (and you can even submit your own photo!). The reason behind that is we do not have license to use many minor league photos. Plus, we love tractors. Don’t you?
• Analysis. Like numbers and learning more about the game? This is the
